In Remembrance – A Tribute to Trần Hữu Tri

“In Remembrance” is a commemorative exhibition honoring the life and legacy of the late painter Trần Hữu Tri (1954–2013), a distinguished figure in Vietnam’s modern art landscape. Curated from a private collection, this exhibition offers a rare opportunity to revisit his most evocative oil paintings—works that embody a profound sensitivity, quiet introspection, and the timeless spirit of Vietnamese aesthetics.

Born in 1954, Trần Hữu Tri graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts (FAU) and later served as lecturer, Dean, and Head of Faculty in Painting, leaving an enduring mark as both an artist and educator. His contributions spanned across decades, from his role in the Department of Culture and Information to his appointment as Teacher of Excellence in 2010.
